Forum user group site is helping our fighting forces
achieve their goal of quick deployability and superior
access to tactical information. Using the Field Forum,
mobile military units can quickly and easily search
the Field Forum’s knowledgebase for latest updates,
answers to solve problems or improve their computing
capacity, regardless of the location. The announcement
was made this morning by the company’s San Diego-based
headquarters, and is live on the web at www.fieldforum.net
as of today.
The Field Forum, transcends the typical call for help
offered in the industry where customer service is available
during specified business hours and the customer is
often put on hold by over-tasked staff. “Z Microsystems’
customers are now able to help themselves to a knowledgebase,
user manuals, the latest technical product advisories
and expert advice,” said Jack Wade, president
and CEO of Z Microsystems, “as well as apply their
own expertise to exchange help with a colleague.”

In comparison to the old-style customer service approach,
the Field Forum is unique in allowing military forces
to pose questions from anywhere in the field directly
to Z Microsystems’ Engineers and industry experts
moderating the forum. The ability to email a Field Forum

of existing postings, can quickly solve a wide range
