SmartStor TP is a family of rugged high performance cross platform network mass storage solutions specifically designed to perform in extreme environmental conditions. The SmartStor family consists of three standard docking base units: the 1Xtp, and a desktop or rackmount 2Xtp and 7Xtp. The Docking base units are available in SCSI and serve as secure receptacles for the removable TranzPak 6 hard drive modules.

The rugged self-contained "hot-pluggable" TranzPak 6 module will hold a 36 GB to 146 GB hard drive, a CDRW, DAT, Tape, or peripheral of your choice. The TranzPak 6 is interchangeable among the complete family of SmartStor systems and protects your media investment while allowing you to keep current with the fast-paced change in the peripheral marketplace.

The desktop SmartStor 1Xtp is easy to daisy chain in future storage expansion. The SmartStor 1Xtp can host one rugged hot-pluggable TranzPak 6 with a disk capacities ranging from 36 GB to 146 GB.

The desktop and rack adaptable SmartStor 2Xtp can host up to two rugged hot-pluggable TranzPak modules with up to 292 GB of storage and an option for a fixed 4MM DAT.

The rack mount or desktop SmartStor 7Xtp with up to 1022 GB of storage capacity, which can be used as a stand-alone or as an expansion to the SmartStor 5Xtp RAID.
